Amanda

Amanda has always had a love for animals from vats to horses. Animals have always been a part of her life, but after a high school co-op placement in a veterinary clinic Amanda knew that veterinary medicine was going to be part of her future. Amanda joined the AEC team in 2007 and loves emergency and critical care. She enjoys the challenges ER medicine provides, along with the joy of nursing critical patients back to health. Amanda enjoys the endless learning opportunities as healthcare continues to change. Even though ER medicine poses many challenges, Amanda enjoys being part of our amazing team which makes the journey worthwhile.

When her stethoscope comes off, she enjoys spending time with her family and her very saucy cat. Amanda loves to read and travel near and far.
